When a quick turnaround and a professional team were required at local Transport Electrification company, Brecknell Willis in Chard Somerset recently, they contacted Forest Electrical Services Ltd following recommendation from a client.
Once approved as a framework supplier and having completed all Health and Safety, CDM & Site Induction requirements swiftly and successfully, work commenced within the agreed short time frame.
The project, to connect a remote detached site building to the Factory main power supply via the installation of a new sub-mains cable. This project required excavations, groundwork and civil works and the installation of nearly 200m of armoured power cable installed partially on the existing factory cable containment system and across a main concrete yard/thoroughfare. All work was managed and overseen by Forest Electricals’ on site senior electrical engineer.
Brecknell Willis are delighted with the completed work which has given them useful access to a previously un-utilised workshop and warehouse.
Henry Brecknell and Sons began trading in 1854. The company have been operating from Chard, Somerset since 1938 and the site has been developed over the decades.
